Angular Contact Ball Bearings
Angular contact ball bearings are suitable for applications which require high accuracy and good high speed performance. This type of bearing is designed to carry a combined load.
Single row angular contact ball bearings are self retaining units with solid inner and outer rings and ball and cage assemblies with polyamide, sheet metal or brass cages.
Single row angular contact bearings accommodate radial load and axial load in one direction, the standard contact angles are 15 degree, 30 degree and 40 degree they are identified respectively by the supplementary codes "C", "A" and "B". Bearings with a smaller contact angle are more suitable for applications involving high speed rotation, those with a larger contact angle feature superior axial load resistance.
Double row angular contact ball bearings are units with solid inner and outer rings and ball and cage assemblies with polyamide, sheet steel or brass cages. The bearings are available in open and sealed designs. Double row angular contact ball bearings can support axial forces in both directions and high radial forces.
