Imperial Timing belt 25.4mm (1") wide 12.7mm (1/2") pitch 230 teeth

Synchronous belts can best be described as that belt with integrally moulded teeth on its inside which makes positive engagement with axially grooved pulley. Synchronous belt is also known as Timing belts or positive drive belt. Synchronous belt drive is not considered as a substitute or replacement to other modes of belt drives. Its unique feature enables it to use in positive drive resulting in precise movement of drive components.

Synchronous belts are offered in three different teeth profile. one is classical timing belt(CT) and second is high torque drive (HTD) and the third is super torque drive (STD) belts. The Classical Synchronous belt has trapezoidal teeth profile and HTD has curvilinear or spherical teeth profile, STD has modified curvilinear tooth profile. Due to difference in teeth profile as well as in their in their torque transmitting capability, these belts can bot be interchanged.

Features:
Trapezoidal tooth profile
Low to medium load bearing capacity
Fairly good positioning capability as backlash is lesser than HTD belt
High flexibility
Efficiency up to 98%

Standard:
ISO 5296

Applications:
Automatic vending machines
Currency counters
Robots
Hosiery Industries
Diamond cutting machines
